AYAHUASCA RECIPES There are many ways to prepare the Ayahuasca admixture reason for which it is impossible to talk about and standarized Ayahuasca drink. However here you have some recipes used by the Shamans of the Peruvian Amazonia (Ayahuasqueros). 1)Jhomber Davila.Requena. (12 years as ayahuasquero) 8 pieces of Banisteriopsis caapi vine ayahuasca of 30 cmt long and 10 cmt ofdiameter , 1 = leaves of Psychotria viridis Chacruna, 12 leaves of Brunfelsia grandiflora Chiric sanango.Them all are boiled in 40 liters of water during all a day.It is obtained 1 = liter of Ayahuasca drink. 2)Norma Panduro.Iquitos. (38 years as ayahuasquera). 3 = Kg. of Banisteriopsis caapi vine ayahuasca, = Kg of Psychotria viridis leaves chacruna, 3 leaves of Brugmansia suaveolens Toe, 4 flowers of Calliandra angustifolia Bobinzana, 10-20 leaves of Nicotiana tabacum tabaco.It is boiled for 12 hours.It is also added 5-10 drops of perfume. 3)Jose Padilla.Iquitos. (52 years as ayahuasquero) 1 Kg. of B. Caapi vine , 50 leaves of P.viridis.Them are boiled in 25-30 liters of water during 2 hours, then the extract is poured in other recipient, more water is added to the herbs for a new decoction during 2 = hours , this process is repeated one more time.Finally all the extracts are put together and evaporated by low fire up to get 1 = liter of Ayahuasca drink,All the process takes 12 hours. 4)Solom Tello .Iquitos.(50 years as ayahuasquero) 30-40 pieces of B. Caapi vine, 200-300 of P. viridis leaves, some Mansoa alliasea Ajos sacha, Petiveria alliacea Mucura and Piper sp. Guayusa.Them all are boiled, it is done 3 extractions .Then the extracts are put together and evaporated.It is obtained 1 = liter of Ayahuasca drink. 5)Francisco Montes Shuqa.Road Iquitos-Nauta.(25 years as ayahuasquero). 12 pieces of B. Caapi, 200 leaves of Diplopterys cabrerana Chagropanga.Them both are boiled for about 12 hours and it is obtained 750 ml. of Ayahuasca drink. 6)Luis Culquiton.Manacamari.Nanay river.(20 years as ayahuasquero). 3 Kg. of B. Caapi vine, 1 Kg of P. viridis leaves, 200 grams of fresh bark of Tabebuia sp. tahuari.Them all are boiled for 8 hours.It is obtained 1 liter of Ayahuasca drink. 7)Ruperto Peqa.Road Iquitos-Nauta.(35 years as ayahuasquero) 12 pieces of B. Caapi, 200 leaves of Diplopterys cabrerana huambisa, 4-5 leaves of Jatropha curcas Piqon colorado and 3 leaves of Dieffenbachia spp. Patiquina.Them all are decocted for 12 hours.It is obtained 1 bottle (750 ml.) of ayahuasca drink. 8)Mateo Arevalo.Pucallpa.(30 years as ayahuasquero) 8-12 pieces of B. Caapi vines of 22-25 cmts long and 8-12 cmt. Of diameter, 30 leaves of P. viridis leaves, 10 leaves of Jatropha curcas Piqon colorado, 10 leaves of Brunfelsia grandiflora Chiric sanango.Them all are boiled for 24 hours.During the decoction the smoke of tobacco is added and after 2 hours the B. Caapi vines are replaced.The extracts are put together and then evaporated.It is obtained 1 lt of ayahuasca drink. 9)Alpio Feitoza.Iquitos.(27 years as ayahuasquero) 1 Kg of B. Caapi, 40 leaves of P. viridis.Them both are boiled with water,(each 3 hours the liquid is added) for 14 hours.It is obtained 1 lt of Ayahuasca drink. -------------------------------------------
